Quick Start

Installed SebScribe? Great. Here's how to start dictating in just a few moments.

Sign in to your SebScribe account

Use the email address linked to your account. SebScribe sends you a sign-in code by email.

On first launch, SebScribe offers a step-by-step wizard. Enter your email, then the received code, to activate the app.

Open the Account area in settings and click Sign in to follow the same flow.

Shortcuts are the keys you use to start and stop dictation.

On the second screen of the wizard, right after account sign-in, you can configure your shortcuts directly.

Open the Shortcuts tab. You can assign different keys to different transcription profiles.

Example setup

`Ctrl`	Legal	Briefs, motions, hearing notes
`Alt`	General	Emails, quick notes, memos

Double-tap the key to start dictating, double-tap again to stop. Text appears directly in the active application.

Place your cursor where you want to type, double-tap your shortcut key, and speak.

Tips

SebScribe understands the meaning of what you dictate. The more complete your sentences, the better the transcription.

You can give voice instructions like "period", "new line", or "new paragraph". But SebScribe handles it very well on its own too!

Profiles (Legal, General, Legal Fast…) adapt vocabulary and transcription style to your context.

Notice a recurring error? Report it via the History screen where you can review your transcriptions. The system adapts to your precise needs.
